Yesterday as temperatures in Dutchess County soared into the 90s, artists everywhere were putting on a show. The Eastern Provinces photographic society hosted an easel tour (and exhibit) where I caught my friend Sue and Linda at work. Then, further south, Peekskill hosted a town wide art studio event with live music and public art by E.Y.E. My friend Elana (spiderinkdesign.com) had a good crowd. I was intrigued as well by the works of Marcy Freedman, the pottery of Jessica Dubin, and the hats by Lavinia Wiggins. All in all a very art-y day.
