Frog dialogue

6.75 x 10 inches, mixed media paper
$100

Flying inches above the silver blue sheeted surface of the bed, skimming the leafless landscape of anxieties, I pooled in crevasses of anguish, where I fed my starved fears, wallowed in shame, dug up more wiggling distress than a creature should have to handle, was blown away by rifts of bad news, and eventually half-buried under landslides of hurt feelings. My woven heart suspended on a pillow leaked it's juices through the seams and soaked the hills as far as I could see.
Mercifully I fell back asleep.
