One of the things I look forward to in summer is the Millerton street drawing festival in conjunction with the NECC Family Festival (music and storytelling). It's my job to rustle up artists for this free all materials included event and you would not believe how hard it is to get people to commit. And it is sooooo much fun. The only hazard is a sunburn and too much pedestrian conversation, mixed with laughter. I have posted some images from the last years to show the diversity of age participation and expression.
