It's a lovely 4th of July, very low paced. Our family friends have arrived marking another year on our calendars. We compare our kid's heights, our waxing girth, our loses, worries, hopes and dreams. In the last 24 hours there has been spilled wine, laughs, even a couple shared tears. We went for a lazy blackberry picking studio breakfast and then an earnest hike at the Audubon Center- was it 11 miles? 23? or 6? It was a lot.
There is a lot of ground to cover...
