Who's to say, with our separation alone clocking 14 months and the marriage itself rolling over 24 years, who's to blame? The truth has been lost in the twists and turns of division and addition of a new world view. My paintings in this series have been a journey expressing living fears, numbing fantasies and a few facts... thrown in for effect. Judging from the overwhelming responses I have received, the story seems to be more universal than unique. My closest girlfriends can be worried, and I... hope to humbly reassure everyone... that this is only, as the found headline states, "a semblance of the truth". It's art.
