Spring is pushing into my bones

After the latest light snowfall, I raked the flower beds and received infinite feelings of gratitude for the natural world. There is a glorious feeling when heavy wet leaves are scraped away and uncover fresh sprouts shooting up, fragile and strong, against all odds. My model and I cavorted in glee. I am hoping my closely cropped painting still carries a remnant of the idea in spite of the abstraction.
