I finally had some time this morning to work through and finish another bird painting. It was fun experimenting with all sorts of media... 10 x 8 inches price right now is $100. May go up.
I love this little guy, his figure is so commanding and his chest seems plump and blod. It's stunning. It also reminds me of a song, 'Bird Song' by Florence + the Machine. It's somewhat dark but very clever...!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Caroline- I just read the lyrics! I actually LOVE it... it is dark- but there is the "unsaid" left in it, and I like that a lot.
