What's in a name

Lesson of the week: anything but Helvetica






 
These paintings are the first of 60+ finished that are a combination of personally significant symbols and
letters on student portfolio covers. They used ink and feather quills, with a little opaque acrylic paint. While working on the designs we watched a documentary called Helvetica, that was very good. It's all around us...
