iconic art assignment: the bicycle

This is the time of year senior high school students across the country start pencil work on their bicycles. It's standard entry requirement for the top art schools of the country, and the kids want to get it right. Here are a couple from my classes.
It really helped me to have Michael working only a few doors down. He gave me tips before my demo, and even visited the class and shared his electric erasure! Wow, what an amazing tool.  (the erasure)

My 10 minute demo lays unfinished... I gave the kids 6 days to work on theirs.
