Birthday chick
My mother makes the sixties look fun! She inspires everyone around her to seize the moment and live life to the fullest. I could go on and on about her influence on me- for the love of art, reading, travel, popcorn, daisies, pink toenail polish, and surprising jewels... but it sounds so trivial. There is much more to this chick than meets the eye. She raises the bar for compassion and generosity. There are countless stories of people who have been impacted by her gifts, many of which are given anonymously. My husband toasts her overwhelming optimism and the fact that she truly cares about the well being of many. As her daughters we have a hope- to keep her sense of humor, her righteous indignation, her commitment to help the less fortunate and her passion for her family. Today's her birthday!
