In my third attempt to capture a month of sundaes, I started to paint Sunday sundaes on April 29 and finished with today's Monday sundae (August 6th). Originally ice cream sundaes were created to circumvent a religious ban on soda fountain deserts served on Sundays, and, for many years, they were only available on Sundays. Today we can get an ice cream sundae served to us regardless of the day of the week- but Monday sundae's always felt a little decadent to me.
What a unique theme for a painting series! Very creative. It's impressive to view them all at once. Good luck in your gallery sales.
