19 x 26 inches, paper, paint and a lot of questions I found the lack of a horizon...or a landscape was a challenge to work with. You can feel the tension between the antlers..one, two, and possibly three....
Tilly, I've been following your work for a long time, admiring your style, your handling of paint and brush, your innate instinct for the narrative, which seems to effortlessly weave itself between life and imagery. You're a gifted story teller and a sincerely emotional cartographer. I have to say, that this painting so strongly typifies the cohesion, the embodiment of your verse with your materials, that it leaves me week in the knees and high in the senses. The apparent support, yet undeniable tension between the two antlers, for this luscious yet vulnerable heart,is profound. I'm moved! Thank you
