valentine therapy: to wish and to fear

Would the right dress finally make me happy?
Sometimes I am sure happiness is just a purchase away.If you feel that way- go ahead and buy this card!
Here is a sewn paper valentine. 7.25 x 5.75 inches.
$85

My favorite story about the Valentine Tradition involves a woman who lived in 1847 named Esther Howland. By organizing her women friends to mass produce a victorian card, she created a cruel craze of insulting cards. For years I have made bittersweet valentines for dysfunctional relatives and lost friends. It has been aptly said that no love, no friendship, can cross our path without leaving some mark on it forever.

This pen and ink drawing is 7 x 6 inches, on paper...
Anyone know where the phrase, "your name is Mud" comes from? Hint: it has to do with Abraham Lincoln.
