Today I painted the day away on the theme of "a night on the town". It was a collaboration with Camille, a young highschool senior who has been assisting me in the studio for a few years now. We had to create a night sky over a city as a centerpiece mural for my son's school auction installation. As you can tell, we used Van Gogh's Starry night as inspiration.
It felt so good to be painting again after a really rough week.
