The gift of new storage

Michael and I had been talking about this- and while I was out of town he built me a couple extra shelves over the flat files in my studio!

 I was completely caught off guard and surprised. (And happy I had not let my grouchy morning mood loose on him earlier!)

 This has all sorts of possibilities.

 Once I painted it white, and wrapped the backside with burlap, I am going to mount a mirror to the short end. Hope it is good Feng Shui.

Unwrapping the rolls of art I had stored in nooks and crannys all over my cramped space I made new and delightful re-discoveries!

Like this large map painting! I am putting my foot down. Making new art. Taking a stand.
